SCULPTURE AT MONTALTO

At Montalto, we have built an amazing collection of contemporary sculptures showcasing the best of (mainly) Australian artists. 20 of these pieces were winners of the annual Montalto Sculpture Prize, with another 15 additional works acquired over the years.

From 2003 through to 2023, the changes in form, material and scale are a reflection of the art form: unique and inspiring. This collection now permanently represents our first 20 years of sculpture at Montalto, with some curated movements to reward visitors with a comprehensive journey over time.

The Montalto Sculpture Trail permanent collection will always remain free to all visitors – we feel passionately that as many people as possible can continue to enjoy these incredible works each and every time they come to visit.
