The Montalto Pantry Collection brings the flavours of our Red Hill estate directly to your kitchen. Made in small batches from estate-grown produce – with help from trusted local artisans – these preserves, condiments and cordials capture the seasonality and abundance of our kitchen gardens, orchards and groves. From olives hand-harvested on the property to chutneys, jams and sauces inspired by family favourites, the Pantry Collection is our way of sharing the land we love with you.
Crafted with produce grown in our 3-acre estate gardens, orchards and olive groves, the Pantry Collection includes:
Beetroot & Bay Leaf Chutney – earthy estate beetroots and fresh bay leaves, perfect with salads, grilled meats or fish.
Horseradish & Tarragon Mustard – estate-grown horseradish and herbs with a splash of Montalto Chardonnay; ideal for roasts or charcuterie.
Strawberry & Rhubarb Jam – sweet local strawberries and tart estate rhubarb; a breakfast staple or dessert base.
Fallen Fruit Marmalade – citrus gathered from our orchards; brilliant with cheese boards or breakfast cocktails.
Tomato Relish – a classic, made with local tomatoes; ideal with chips, pies, eggs or BBQs.
Tomato Sauce – chutney-style, made with local tomatoes; perfect with hot chips and savoury pastries.
Olives – estate-grown Kalamata, Ligurian and Sevillano olives, cured for everyday enjoyment.
Limited Editions – such as Rhubarb Sweet Chilli Sauce and Lemon & Basil Cordial, showcasing the season’s bounty.
Each product is made in small runs to ensure freshness and quality, and many feature directly on our menus at The Piazza and The Restaurant.
From the beginning, our estate-to-plate philosophy has guided everything at Montalto. What began with kitchen gardens designed by landscape architect Andrew Laidlaw in 2002 has grown into a three-acre network of heirloom gardens, led today by Produce Manager Julie Bennett. These gardens supply our kitchens daily – and when harvests overflow, we preserve the excess into pantry staples, ensuring nothing is wasted and every season is celebrated.
Estate-grown & sustainable – produce from our own gardens, orchards and groves.
Small-batch & local – crafted with the help of artisan partner Mumma Made.
Inspired by the kitchen – many items are featured in dishes across The Piazza and The Restaurant.
Perfect for gifting – a premium taste of the Mornington Peninsula to enjoy at home.
