Absolutely! Little ones are always welcome at Montalto. In The Restaurant, we offer a 3-course children's menu at $49 per child, which consists of a snack-plate entrée, choice of main meal, dessert, and soft drink. In The Piazza, while we don't have a dedicated children's menu, our à la carte menu has plenty of options that children love, including our famously delicious wood-fired pizzas!

In The Piazza, weekend bookings are offered across two generous seating sessions, giving you and your group plenty of beautiful time to settle in, share great food, and enjoy the stunning surroundings at a wonderfully leisurely pace. Our two seating times run for approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. In The Restaurant, our exquisite set menus are thoughtfully designed to take you on a culinary journey at just the right pace — courses arrive with perfect timing, ensuring you never feel rushed and always feel entirely immersed in the experience. For The Restaurant, bookings are essential. We do kindly remind guests that if you plan on indulging in our exceptional wines throughout the day — which we absolutely encourage — please ensure you have a designated driver or consider arranging local transport to get you home safely.

While the Mornington Peninsula is best explored by car, we completely understand that not everyone is able to drive — particularly when there are so many incredible wines to enjoy throughout the day! Public transport options to Montalto are unfortunately quite limited, so we strongly recommend driving or arranging private transport for your visit. There are a number of wonderful local shuttle services and wine tour operators across the Peninsula that cater specifically to winery visits, making for a wonderfully relaxed and stress-free day.

Cancellation policies do vary depending on the type of booking, and full details will always be provided at the time of reservation. As a general guide: Standard Bookings — we kindly ask that any cancellations or decreases in party size are made no less than 24 hours prior to your reservation. No-shows, late cancellations, or last-minute reductions in guest numbers may be subject to a cancellation fee as advised at the time of booking. The Garden Room & Private Dining Room — a minimum of 48 hours' notice is required for any cancellations or changes. Please note that any cancellations made within this 48-hour window will result in the deposit being forfeited. We strongly encourage all guests to get in touch with our team as early as possible should any changes need to be made.
