While we always love welcoming spontaneous visitors to Montalto, we absolutely recommend securing a reservation in advance to avoid any disappointment, particularly during our peak seasons when our spaces fill up incredibly quickly! For The Restaurant, bookings are essential. For The Piazza, bookings are strongly recommended, especially for big groups and weekend visits. Please note, for a weekend we take bookings for a minimum of 10 guests. At The Cellar Door, walk-ins are warmly welcomed, subject to availability. In The Piazza, weekend seating sessions run for approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. In The Restaurant, sitting durations are 2 hours and 15 minutes. Cancellation policies vary depending on the type of booking, and full details will always be provided at the time of reservation. As a general guide: Standard Bookings — cancellations or decreases in party size must be made no less than 24 hours prior. No-shows, late cancellations, or last-minute reductions may be subject to a cancellation fee. The Garden Room & Private Dining Room — a minimum of 48 hours' notice is required. Cancellations within this window will result in the deposit being forfeited. We strongly encourage all guests to get in touch as early as possible should any changes need to be made.
