Crimson red in colour, the 2018 Tempranillo is packed with mulberry, raspberry, cherry and blood plum fruit qualities together with leaf litter and faint nuances of chocolate, tar and leather. There’s a rustic earthiness with some mineral and ferrous notes adding further complexity.
On the palate, there’s plenty of juicy fruit to greet you and abundant silky tannins to carry the fruit. The initial blast of fruit sweetness slowly subsides to be replaced with a long and plush finish.
