The celebrations continue here in Red Hill – the estate is flat out with friends and family get togethers – be they enjoying a glass of wine in the lawn; celebrating a special occasion in The Restaurant; enjoying a picturesque picnic or having a quick pizza in The Piazza after a beach day, we love to see everyone enjoying the property while it’s looking its finest.

Just in case you missed the memo, we released Montalto Gin Batch Three just before Christmas!
Distilled in collaboration with Bass & Flinders; raspberry, orange and hibiscus rosella from our home estate create a bright lifted fruit infused gin where the raspberry plays off floral notes aromatically, and citrus tones on the palate create a perfectly refreshing accompaniment.
Montalto Gin Batch Three is now available to enjoy onsite in The Piazza, The Restaurant and in The Cellar Door. A limited number of bottles are available to purchase both from The Cellar Door and online.
Did you know that our new release wines are shared with our Wine Club before being released more broadly? Being a member of our Wine Club is also the only way to access discounts from across our portfolio.
We are now in peak zucchini season and these will feature on all menus across our estate along with our heirloom tomatoes and Genovese basil. Our peaches and nectarines are looking - and tasting – absolutely amazing and will be followed by our blood plums that are already starting to ripen on our trees.
Our bees have been busy giving us nearly 20 kilos of beautiful honey and we are harvesting generous punnets of our raspberries, with help from our lovely Piazza staff, every morning!
The first of Julie’s incredible estate-grown heirloom tomatoes are finally here! Perfect summer tomatoes don't need much: something salty, something crunchy, something creamy. Tomatoes and feta cheese is a personal favourite of mine. The natural sweetness and acidity of the tomato, alongside the saltiness and creaminess of the feta makes for a delicious salad for our mid-course offering.

This summer, The Restaurant will be open every day* from Thursday 28th December 2023 – Monday 15th January 2024. From Friday 19th January, we’ll be back to our normal Friday – Monday lunches. (*We’re closed on Wednesday 3rd January and Wednesday 10th January)
In celebration of the stunning sunlight and summer vibes in The Piazza, all of our new main courses will exclusively feature our estate-grown produce with different proteins. My favourites include the grilled chicken, with charred garden vegetables and baba ghanoush. And fresh, locally caught fish served with panzanella - a hearty Italian-inspired salad showcasing our incredible heirloom tomatoes, cucumber, red capsicum and toasted ciabatta dressed with anchovy dressing. Our dedicated Lawn Bar will be open throughout summer (weather depending), serving drinks and snacks to enjoy on the lush lawn overlooking the vines.
It’s the perfect time of year for stunning summer picnics with family, friends and colleagues. For a very limited time, on weekends throughout January 2024, we can cater for larger groups from 8 - 12 people. This is by request only, and subject to availability.
