For the last two years, we’ve collaborated with one of our local heroes here on the Peninsula - Bass & Flinders Distillery - to create our extremely popular limited edition gin. After selling out Batch One and Two, we’re thrilled to release Batch Three – just in time for summer.. and Christmas!
Distilled in collaboration with Bass & Flinders; raspberry, orange and hibiscus rosella from our home estate create a bright lifted fruit infused gin where the raspberry plays off floral notes aromatically, and citrus tones on the palate create a perfectly refreshing accompaniment.
Montalto is a family-owned estate where produce is grown, shared and celebrated. Bass & Finders is an award-winning distillery located approximately 9km from Montalto. This gin has been handcrafted using Bass & Flinders’ Methode Eau de Vie – the art of distilling wine into spirit – delivering a smoother, fuller, richer flavour.
We definitely recommend Montalto Gin Batch Three in a simple, refreshing gin and tonic so you can really taste the distinctive flavours of the Montalto estate. But really, it’s the perfect gin for anytime, any way you like it.
Montalto Gin Batch Three is now available to enjoy onsite in The Piazza, The Restaurant and in The Cellar Door. A limited number of bottles are available to purchase both from The Cellar Door and online via the Montalto website.
