“Cool climate white pepper blends with Allspice, blackberries, olive and Queen Garnet plum. On the palate, this medium bodied Syrah has a core of juicy, dark fruit including boysenberry, plum and blueberry balanced with subtle coffee grinds and dark chocolate, pepper and finally a delicate umami character on the finish.”
Simon Black, Chief Winemaker.
“A single vineyard wine made from our home vineyard in Red Hill South. Comprised of 59% North Face block (clone P58) and 41% South Face block (clone I10V1). Our Estate Chardonnay is built on a core of citrus fruit together stone fruits of nectarine and white peach. After some challenging weather events in late spring, impacting yields, the weather Gods provided perfect conditions leading into harvest. Slate and flint, lemon curd, crème brulee, lime splice, roasted hazelnuts, white florals, a lick of sulphides all chime in to play their part. The influence of spicy French oak compliments the generous fruit profile which is tied together with bright and energetic naturally acidity and a textural, creamy finish.”

“Recently awarded a Gold Medal at the 2024 Royal Queensland Wine Show, expect vibrant and fresh yet concentrated red cherry combined with chinotto and Campari for a complex yet moreish Pinot Noir.”

“August is the time for preparing for the warmer months and starting off our summer crops. Seeds are now sown for our tomatoes, eggplants and chillies while I harvest beautiful big heads of cabbages that have sweetened with the winter frosts. Tender crops of salad mix and peas are being harvested from our polytunnels and our citrus is being picked by the crate-load for our kitchens. Spring feels just around the corner now!”
