Here’s how you can spend a summer’s day at Montalto, or our sister estate Tucks which is reopening for a very special summer season!
Open Friday - Monday for lunch, and every day from Wednesday 28th December - Monday 9th January.
The menu continues to be ever-changing - showcasing a seasonal celebration of our estate-grown heirloom produce, alongside the very best locally sourced ingredients from across the Mornington Peninsula.
Specifically designed to share, curated collections of dishes arrive at the table in a series of courses. Each course masterfully highlights the deep connection between our estate gardens (expertly managed by our Produce Manager Julie Bennett), our kitchens and our award-winning wines, inspired by our Creative Director, Matt Wilkinson.
Reservations are absolutely essential, especially in summer. Get in quick to avoid disappointment.
Open 7 days, 11am - 5pm. Walk ins only. For groups of 10 - 16 guests, reservations can be made online.
This summer sees the exciting launch of our brand new Lawn Bar! With its very own menu and easy QR code ordering system, you’re free to enjoy all the snacks and all the wines whilst relaxing on the lush green lawns overlooking the vines. The perfect sunny day activity!
The Piazza is also hosting Summer Twilight Dinners from 5.30pm every Saturday from Saturday 3rd December 2022 - Saturday 25th February 2023 including New Years Eve (please note: Twilight is closed on Christmas Eve). Throughout this time, the kitchen is open from 11am - 7.30pm every Saturday. Last drinks at 8pm.

Relax and enjoy a selection of wine varietals, hand-picked by our team, as they guide you through our portfolio. We have three seated tastings available to reserve online: Latest Release, Single Vineyard Exploration & Museum vs Latest.
The Cellar Door will host Summer Twilight Tastings from 5.30pm - 7.30pm every Saturday from Saturday 3rd December 2022 - Saturday 25th February 2023 including New Years Eve (please note: Twilight is closed on Christmas Eve). Throughout this time, The Cellar Door is open from 11am - 7.30pm every Saturday. Last drinks at 8pm.

Since 2002, we’ve invited guests to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of our estate at a collection of secluded picnic sites – all of which have been specifically chosen for their unique and stunning locations. Enjoy a wine tasting, followed an abundant multi-course menu showcasing the very best estate-grown and locally sourced ingredients from across the Peninsula.

2022 marks the 20th year of sculpture at Montalto – an incredible milestone that we’re so excited to share with you this summer! Sculpture is an integral part of life at Montalto and a highlight of any visit to the estate. Our Sculpture Trail winds its way through the property and our beautiful natural gallery provides diverse settings for our pieces.
The 2022 Montalto Sculpture Prize Exhibition runs from 19th November 2022 through until 30th April 2023. Throughout this time, enjoy the breathtaking entries to this year’s Sculpture Prize, sitting alongside our impressive permanent collection.

We’re excited to announce that our sister estate is reopening for a very limited summer season, every single day from Tuesday 27th December – Sunday 8th January!
BYO picnic rug, deck chairs, sunscreen and 4-legged friends, and enjoy the perfect summer’s day snacking and wining the hours away!
No bookings, no BYO food or drinks, no wine tastings, just good times.

Montalto is closed to all visitors on Sunday 25th December (Christmas Day) & Monday 26th December (Boxing Day).
