Spring is just beginning to show on the Peninsula and there’s a lovely sense of momentum across the estate. We’re still buzzing after being named a Top Five Red Star Winery in the 2026 Halliday Wine Companion - a recognition of the focus and care our winemaking team pours into every vintage.
In the gardens, the first spring produce is on its way; in the vineyard, new life is unfolding row by row. It’s a beautiful time to visit - whether you’re here for Father’s Day this Sunday, a relaxed afternoon in The Piazza, or a long lunch in The Restaurant. You’ll also find thoughtful gift packs and voucher ideas in The Cellar Door too.
With the AFL Grand Final Long Weekend and school holidays on the horizon, September is full of good excuses to make a day of it. And a quick reminder: our Piazza mid-week special is in its final weeks - get in quick because it won’t be around for too much longer!
Cheers,
This Father’s Day, make memories over good food, great wine and breathtaking views on the Mornington Peninsula.

"Spring is the most exciting time of year in the kitchen - the gardens come alive, and suddenly we’ve got this incredible wave of new-season produce to inspire us. It’s all about light, vibrant flavours - think fresh peas, broad beans, globe artichokes and the first of the asparagus. You’ll see these ingredients appearing across our spring menus in the weeks ahead - straight from the estate gardens, and often harvested just hours before service."
Adam Johnston, Head Chef

“Spring is a very exciting time in our produce gardens as summer plants are nearly ready to be planted and we farewell the last of our winter citrus.
Asparagus begins to poke through its rich winter layer of mulch and our garlic bulbs fatten. Winter greens of Swiss chard, cabbages and kales continue for a bit longer but will soon be replaced with summer crops of zucchini, capsicums, cucumbers, chillies and tomatoes. French breakfast radishes are harvested by the armload and our waterways are producing the crispest watercress for our restaurant.
Happy spring!”
