A highly expressive nose of poached pear, musk stick, talc, apple blossom and cinnamon spice. The palate bursts with quenching pear fruit, rosewater and honeysuckle florals, underpinned by crisp natural acidity and impressive drive. A wine of generosity and freshness with a tightly coiled finish.

WINEMAKING NOTES

All fruit was whole bunch pressed. The Red Hill component was handled aerobically and transferred directly to old French oak barriques with a considered level of suspended solids, undergoing wild fermentation and natural malolactic fermentation. The Tuerong component was cold settled, racked clear to old French oak and inoculated with QA23 yeast, with no malolactic fermentation. Both components matured on lees for seven months before blending and bottling.
