Sunday Brunch at Montalto

For $45, guests enjoy a refreshing freshly squeezed orange juice on arrival, a shared collection of starters (including boujee ‘Blinis with crème fraîche and bloody shiraz caviar') and a main course of their choice.

“I’m not shy about my love for a boozy brunch! What better way to spend a morning than overlooking the amazing Montalto property with friends whilst indulging on some seriously good brunch food. There might be some old Pope Joan favourites in there too…!”
Matt Wilkinson, Culinary Captain, Montalto.

Highlights from the menu include 'Blistered heirloom tomatoes with grilled sardines, caper & raisin dressing’ and 'Rose scrambled eggs with XO sauce' whilst traditionalists can enjoy 'Eggs Florentine with estate-grown garden greens and béarnaise' or ‘The Full English – fried eggs with all the usual suspects'. For believers in “breakfast dessert”, 'Buttermilk waffles with rhubarb and burnt butter ice cream' are a must.

The menu is matched with our new cocktail list - the absolute must-tries include 'Montalto Gin & Blackberry Bramble Spritz (made with our very own Bass & Flinders gin)', 'Watermelon & Rosé sangria' and the estate-grown stone fruit bellini. Brunch essentials - Bloody Marys, Aperol Spritz and Espresso Martinis - will be available in abundance.

Of course, our award-winning wines will also be available throughout Sunday Brunch. Serving suggestion: 2016 Montalto Cuvée One - the perfect brunch match.

So whether you’re a much-loved local, or headed home from a well-deserved mini-vacay or patrolling the Peninsula for the very best estate-grown, locally sourced, seasonal menu to set you up for a Sunday of wine-tastings, the new Sunday Brunch at Montalto is sure to become an absolute must this autumn.
