Made from the traditional Champagne grape varieties 46% Chardonnay (clone 96) and 54% Pinot Noir (D5V12 Clone).
Complex, fresh and textural, with a gentle bead and crunchy acidity. Food match: oysters with freshly squeezed lemon juice.
Montalto Cuvée One 2008 Late Disgorged (Sept 2021 – 13 years on lees)
A single site wine from our home vineyard in Red Hill South, made from the traditional Champagne grape varieties of Chardonnay (50%) and Pinot Noir (40%) and Pinot Meunier (10%)
Rich, complex, fresh and textural. Food match: Duck liver pate with liqueur muscat on mini toast.
To toast this release, we’ll be pouring both sparkling wines by the glass in The Piazza and The Restaurant alongside dishes specifically designed to match these food friendly wines.
Over in The Cellar Door, the wine team will be holding bespoke seated tastings featuring these wines. Perfect opportunity to try before you buy!
Please note: Montalto Cuvée One 2008 Late Disgorged is a limited release, so this weekend will be your only chance to taste via The Cellar Door. The remainder will be available exclusively for Wine Club members, and guests dining in The Restaurant.
