We’re thrilled to be celebrating International Sculpture Day at Montalto on Saturday 27th April 2024!
Join John Mitchell (owner of Montalto) and Neil Williams (Creative Director – Sculpture) for a guided tour of Montalto’s inspiring Sculpture Trail. Experience each beautiful piece as you hear the stories behind the collection, the works and their creators.
“At Montalto, we have built an amazing collection of contemporary sculptures showcasing the best of (mainly) Australian artists. 20 of these pieces were winners of the annual Montalto Sculpture Prize, with another 15 additional works acquired over the years.
From 2003 through to 2023, the changes in form, material and scale are a reflection of the art form: unique and inspiring. This collection now permanently represents our first 20 years of sculpture at Montalto, with some curated movements to reward visitors with a comprehensive journey over time.” John Mitchell, owner.
Our 1km Sculpture Trail winds through our vines, along wooden boardwalks and through the wetlands and affords spectacular views of both the sculptures and the property along the way.
Numbers are strictly limited, bookings are essential.

The Piazza operates on a walk ins only basis for groups of under 10 people.
