Mornington Peninsula
'Our Main Ridge site has consistently delivered immensely aromatic wines, allowing each vintage to age elegantly, and the 2014 is no different. The nose is packed with florals, blue fruits, cherry cola and a distinct earthiness highlighted by an interesting pine needle note. Plum and cherry dominate the palate complimented by plush, velvety tannins delivering brightness and flow. Lovely, lively, and juicy – drink now!' - Simon Black
The Main Ridge site sits at 156 metres above sea level. Being a cooler, more vigorous site on red volcanic soils this vineyard delivers wonderful aromatics and purity - even with 9 years bottle-age, the 2014 vintage still showcases this unique expression of site. Beautiful florals layered with concentrated red fruits but expressing aged qualities by way of subtle tobacco and cedar notes. Fine tannins and bright acidity, delivering a rich yet delicate wine.
