The Restaurant is where our estate gardens, wood-fire and award-winning wines meet. Expect thoughtfully paced courses, seasonal produce led by our Produce Manager, Julie Bennett, and a wine list curated from our critically-acclaimed collection. Reservations are essential.
Please note: The Restaurant may open on select Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout summer, depending on estate activity and demand. Availability will vary week to week. We recommend checking our online booking platform regularly for the most up-to-date information, as openings and times will update in real time throughout the season.

Since 2002, our private picnics have offered a moment out of the ordinary at secluded estate locations, complete with white-linen tables, seasonal three-course menus and a bottle of Montalto wine (between two).

Make time to explore the Sculpture Trail and overlook our estate gardens.
The gardens were originally designed by the highly respected landscape architect Andrew Laidlaw, best known for his work at Melbourne’s Royal Botanic Gardens. A trusted friend of the Mitchell family, Andrew helped Wendy design and plan the original Piazza gardens in 2002. The gardens are now proudly managed by our Produce Manager, Julie Bennett.
For long lunches in The Restaurant, relaxed afternoons in The Piazza, private picnics, and Cellar Door tastings, book early - summer is our busiest time.
