The King's Birthday long weekend is one of the most anticipated moments on the Mornington Peninsula calendar, and there's no better way to celebrate than with Winter Wine Weekend, hosted by MP Wine. This year, Montalto invites you to experience our most awarded wines in a series of thoughtfully curated experiences, both at the region-wide celebration at the Red Hill Showgrounds and onsite across our estate in Red Hill South.
Join us on Saturday at the Red Hill Showgrounds for the official Winter Wine Weekend tasting event. With over 40 local wineries pouring their finest, it’s the ultimate way to explore the very best of the Mornington Peninsula in a single afternoon.
Montalto will be showcasing five standout wines that have each been recognised at the highest levels across the country:

Walk ins always welcome
Perfect for a more casual experience, our top wines will be available by the glass all weekend in The Piazza. Soak up the views, enjoy the seasonal menu featuring the best estate-grown produce alongside our iconic pizzas, and toast to the long weekend.
The Piazza is walk-in only – arrive early to secure a table.

1. Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over.
2. To be eligible, individuals must sign up to the Alto Wine Club for the first time between Monday 2nd June 2025 and Monday 9th June 2025 (inclusive).
3. Existing Alto Wine Club members or individuals who cancel and rejoin during the promotional period are not eligible.
4. The prize includes:
· Montalto Estate to Plate experience for two (RRP $570)
· Wine & Cheese Bathing Experience at Alba Thermal Springs for two (RRP $460)
· One night’s accommodation at Quarters, Flinders Hotel (RRP $400 – subject to confirmation and availability)
5. Total prize pool valued at approximately $1,430.
6. The winner will be drawn at random and notified by email no later than Friday 13th June 2025.
7. The prize must be redeemed by 31st December 2025 and is subject to availability at all participating venues.
8. Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
