If the thought of cooking Christmas from scratch is enough to make you pop a cork, our incredible team have got you covered – from snacks through to dessert plus award-winning wines too
TO DRINK by Simon Black, Winemaker.
For me, Christmas is all about celebrating family and nothing says celebration like sparkling wine. With its lace-like thread of bright red fruits, a perfectly chilled Pennon Hill Sparkling Rosé is the ideal way to toast the season!
TO EAT by Matt Wilkinson, Culinary Director.
"This year’s menu is from my heart – a few dishes I’d prepare for my mum if I were back home in the UK this Christmas, a few dishes that I’ll be serving on my own family’s table on Christmas Day right here in Melbourne. When I shared the menu with our Winemaker Simon Black, he knew exactly which wine would be the perfect match: Sparkling Rosé. With love and gratitude to everyone who has supported us this year x” ~ Matt Wilkinson, Culinary Director.

MORE TO DRINK
Here’s what Simon Black recommends this summer: “Summer is a great time for outdoor dining, with seafood and fresh salads always on the menu. To help combat the warmer weather, I’m usually looking for aromatic varieties and styles filled with brightness, fruit purity, and crunchy natural acidity. Wines that come to mind include, Riesling, Rosé and Pinot Gris. Keep the ice bucket close by to maintain a gentle chill on them.”
So, whether you’re enjoying our heat-and-eat menu or one you’ve prepared from scratch yourself, we’ve always got the perfect wines to match!
