This is a purpose-built Rosé made from selected parcels of fruit and specific vinification techniques using 100% Pinot Noir hailing from our Red Hill and Tuerong vineyards.

A wine with an intense bouquet displaying strawberry, rose petal and spice. On the palate, bright red fruits combine with spice and fennel. A super-textural wine with powder-fine tannins and a long savoury finish. A perfect food wine.

WINEMAKING NOTES

Two key winemaking techniques were used to make the 2023 Pennon Hill Rosé. The first involves whole bunch pressing directly to stainless steel for cold settling, racking and cool fermentation with cultured yeast. The second component (23%) undergoes carbonic maceration for 2 weeks prior to pressing, racking and fermentation. The result is an aromatic wine displaying beautiful varietal definition, creamy mid-palate texture and a fresh, savoury finish.
