Lemon sherbet, lime curd, white peach, wet stone, white florals, together with some roasted hazelnuts. There are some gentle oak aromas by the way of brioche just to round out the package. A collage of citrus, stone and tropical fruit flavours are supported by quenching lemony acidity, together with a mineral lick, and generous texture from the lees work. This is a delicious Chardonnay with hallmark Pennon Hill qualities exhibiting great varietal definition and regional expression.

|Hand harvested fruit is whole bunch pressed directly to French oak barriques and puncheons (24% new). A considered amount of solids is maintained in the ferment. Following wild fermentation, natural malolactic fermentation brings the natural acidity back into check and the wine is then left to mature on lees; stirred when appropriate following appraisal to enhance flavour and texture. The wine is aged for 9 months in oak prior to blending and bottling.|
