2016 Pennon Hill Pinot Grigio
Whole bunch pressed Pinot Gris fruit from our cooler vineyard sites at Red Hill and Main Ridge is whole-bunch pressed for clear juice. The majority of the juice is transferred to stainless steel, while a small portion is fermented in old French oak to provide texture and mouthfeel. A small amount of whole-bunch fermented wine was also blended in to provide textural complexity.
Our 2016 release exemplifies the classic traits of Italian Pinot Grigio, green tree fruits, fresh acidity and a long satisfying finish. Absolutely spot-on!
