2009 (The Eleven) Single Vineyard Chardonnay

Each vintage since 2007 we have taken a small parcel of fruit from the original Eleven rows of Chardonnay on the Montalto vineyard, giving it extended ageing in specially-sourced Chardonnay barrels. The resulting wines have built upon the already impressive reputation of the Montalto “Estate” Chardonnay. The 2009 vintage is an incredibly complex Chardonnay with aromas of lime marmalade, white peach and crème brulée; and a palate of citrus fruits wonderfully balanced with creamy, spicy oak. Certainly has the power and character to develop greater even greater complexity over the next 6-8 years.
